Daddy Donnie by Danny Evarts (with help from Patrick Clare)
Ever wonder why some people are so fanatical about repressing the rights of others? "Daddy Donnie" may tell the tale. This eight-page comic story, as seen through they eyes of a young Queer guy, delves into his experiences as a kid on the street who meets up with one of these Homophobically vocal leaders.
Some readers laugh, and many have cried in fright and concern, in perusing this tale. Perhaps its insights hold more truth than most would like to believe.
"A fantastic dark and disturbing tale that delves deeply into the hypocrisy of the Religious 'Right'." · Pat C. Tuber - "Queer Nasty"
Though originally presented as a short story and later as a mini-comic in the pages of the zine "Queer Nasty", this version gives an added bonus of Danny's classic 1-page "EZ-Queer" and the semi-autobiographical 3-page "End Racism" comics, rounding out this delightful little romp.
12 pp ; 2-colour offset printed cover ; Black & White interior Originally produced in conjunction withTop Shelf Productions. Cat. BRP-DD-1 · Price $1

King Baby Komix #1 The Rise & Fall of Maggie Gun
"Come now, gentle reader, and hear a tale of love, life, success and ultimate surrender...."
So begins this startlingly frightening little tale of a girl with money in her pocket and stars in her eyes. Perhaps it is a story often told, but never quite like this.
Created as a semi-companion to Christian Johnson's debut album "King Baby" from Trip Records, the comic includes a special decoder chart for a secret message hidden in that CD!!
Written and drawn by Danny Evarts (with story help from Tommy Davis and Christian Johnson himself).

Queer Nasty We're Here · We're Queer · Get Over It
Dedicated to the art of ridicule thought and intelligent humour, Queer Nasty is a much acclaimed (and often just as much despised) underground Queer political zine.
Their philosophy? "Tired of being forced to conform to animage of how others think we should be, whether religious freaks and breeders or those in the 'lesbigay' community who think that we are 'harming' them by our actions, and fed up with the double standards in our own communities, we try to point out these flaws and their blatant stupidity and offer caring, helpful suggestions."
Filled with caustically hilarious political, sexual and all-around thought-provoking materials, each issue of Queer Nasty is sure to make you laugh, cry, get pissed off, and maybe even help you to start thinking for yourself.
